Trycycle Toys Fair Use Policy
At Trycycle Toys, our mission is to help families explore, play, and grow — while reducing waste and maximizing joy. To ensure a safe and seamless experience for everyone, we ask that all members use our toys with care and respect. By signing up for any Trycycle Toys service, you agree to follow this Fair Use Policy (the “Policy”).
- Purpose: This Policy outlines the expectations for responsible and reasonable use of the toys, equipment, and related services provided by Trycycle Toys. Its purpose is to ensure toys remain safe, clean, and available for all customers.
- Respect the Toys and Packaging. We thoughtfully select high-quality toys for your child’s development. We ask that you:
- Use toys only as intended and according to age recommendations.
- Keep all parts and pieces together.
- Store toys indoors and avoid exposing them to water, pets, or extreme temperatures.
- Preserve original packaging and storage bags for returns.
- Normal Wear and Tear Is Okay. We know that real play comes with real life. Here’s how we handle it:
- Minor scuffs, light wear, or signs of loving play are completely acceptable.
- If a toy is significantly damaged (e.g., broken components, permanent stains), we may charge a repair or replacement fee.
- Missing pieces and products policy: The first time a piece or product is missing, we’ll waive the replacement cost — life happens! However, if this happens more than once during your subscription, we’ll connect with you about applicable replacement costs to keep the set complete for future families.
- Health and Safety First.
- Please give toys a quick wipe with a wet cloth and dry before sending them back (we do a thorough clean afterward).
- If your child has been ill, let us know. We’ll handle toy sanitation with extra care.
- Return Guidelines. When returning your toys, please:
- Pack all toys back in the original box or bag they came in.
- Ensure that only Trycycle Toys are returned — please double-check that you haven’t mixed in toys from your home.
- If an item is not returned, we’ll reach out to you regarding the applicable replacement costs.
- Want to Keep a Toy? If your child falls in love with a toy and you’d like to make it a permanent part of your home, we get it! Let us know — we’re happy to work out a fair purchase agreement.
- Responsible Toy Rotation. To keep our rotation running smoothly for all families:
- Please return your rental toys on time.
- If you miss your scheduled pickup day once, we’ll try a second time during the same week at no extra cost.
- If we need to reschedule for the following week, a $10.00 CAD late fee will be charged to arrange a new pickup time.
- Keep your account details updated so we can coordinate drop-offs, pickups, and upcoming toy themes with ease.
- A Living Policy. We may update this Policy from time to time to reflect the needs of our growing community. We recommend checking this page from time to time to ensure that you are happy with any changes.
